Welcome home.
When I created Lady Gray’s Haven, I had you in mind. I wanted to create more than a place to stay. I envisioned a warm and welcoming home where you could feel safe, respected and comfortable being yourself.
I also want you to know something important: I understand.
Your story and circumstances are uniquely yours, but in many ways, I have stood where you may be standing. As a child, my family experienced housing instability, and throughout my childhood and young adulthood, I also endured significant trauma. These experiences have given me a deeply personal understanding of how uncertainty and trauma can affect a person’s sense of safety, stability, and hope for the future.
Those experiences never left me. They are at the heart of why Lady Gray’s Haven exists.
To me, a haven is more than a roof and four walls. It is a place of safety, calm, dignity and belonging. It is a place where you are welcomed without judgment, treated with respect and given room to regain your footing.
Lady Gray’s Haven is intended to be both a haven and a bridge — a haven from the uncertainty you may be experiencing today and a bridge connecting you to the future you are working toward.
This community was created around your independence, dignity and personal responsibility. Whatever circumstances brought you here, they do not have to define where you go next. This is a place to take a breath, rebuild stability and strengthen the foundation beneath you.
I created Lady Gray’s Haven with you in mind because I once needed what I now hope to offer: a stable place to call home, a renewed sense of possibility and a reminder that what comes next can be different.
Beginning in Texas and growing into additional communities, our mission is to provide women with more than a place to stay. We want every resident to have a dependable place to call home and a stronger foundation from which to move forward.

LOCATIONS

Lady Gray’s Haven was created with a vision to bring safe, stable and affordable independent shared housing to women in communities across the country.
We are beginning in Texas while thoughtfully exploring opportunities in New York and other communities. New locations will be introduced as suitable homes, resources and community relationships are established.
Housing locations and availability will vary. We invite women seeking housing and referral professionals to contact us for the most current information.
WHAT WE OFFER
More than a room. A place to feel at home.
Lady Gray’s Haven provides affordable independent shared housing in a warm, respectful and welcoming home environment. Each home is designed to support stability while allowing residents to maintain their independence and personal responsibility.
Furnished room options
Comfortable furnished shared bedrooms are our standard housing arrangement and are generally shared by two women. A limited number of private rooms may be available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the home's layout and availability.
Shared spaces, shared respect
Residents have access to welcoming common areas where they can relax, prepare meals and enjoy the comforts of home. Every resident is expected to help maintain a clean, peaceful and respectful shared-living environment.
Utilities and household essentials
Utilities, Wi-Fi, and basic household essentials are included as described in the resident's housing agreement.
Subject to reasonable household usage and the terms of the resident agreement.
Resources for moving forward
A home can provide stability, but moving forward often requires more. Lady Gray’s Haven may offer optional educational resources and community connections that help residents build confidence, strengthen their independence, and prepare for their next chapter.
Resources may include: budgeting, financial literacy, employment readiness, interview preparation, career clothing resources, continuing education resources, home ownership education, banking and credit education and personal development. These resources are intended to encourage independence and help women continue building toward their personal goals.
Participation is optional and available resources may vary by location.
Independent living
Lady Gray’s Haven provides independent housing. It is not a shelter, treatment program, rehabilitation facility, assisted-living residence or personal-care provider. We do not provide medical, clinical, rehabilitation, legal, financial advisory services or personal-care services. Residents must be able to live independently.

Reach out
Complete the inquiry form and tell us a little about what you are looking for, including your preferred city or state. You do not need to share medical information or other sensitive personal details in the initial inquiry.

Visit the home
If a home is available and the initial housing requirements appear to align, we will arrange an opportunity for you to visit. You can see the home, learn more about the shared-living environment and decide whether it feels like the right place for you.

Let's have a conversation
A member of our team will contact you to learn more about your housing needs and answer your questions. We will discuss current availability, room options, housing costs, resident expectations and whether Lady Gray's Haven may be an appropriate fit.

Complete the process and move in
If you decide to move forward and space is available, we will guide you through the required application, documentation and housing agreement. Once everything is completed, we will confirm the move-in date and help you understand what to expect upon arrival.
Submitting an inquiry or receiving a referral does not guarantee placement. Housing is subject to eligibility, location and availability.

Lady Gray’s Haven welcomes relationships with case managers, social workers, churches, nonprofits, workforce-development programs and other professionals who assist adult women seeking safe, stable and affordable housing. If you work with a woman who can live independently and would benefit from a respectful shared-home environment, Lady Gray’s Haven may be an appropriate housing resource.
